I mentioned previously the offer of free web analytics through Google Analytics. Now, another major provider of another popular analytics solution is giving out free access to several of ClickTracks most popular features.
Dubbed ClickTracks Appetizer, it provides powerful features likes an overlay view, path view, page analysis and even some basic visitor labeling tools. The folks at ClickTracks will be turning on select features from their paid versions once a month with “Web Analytics Day” to give webmasters a taste of some of the more powerful features of ClickTracks.

Digital Inspiration offers an all-in-one preview tool that helps one compare the relevance of Contextual Advertising services offered by Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) and Chitika eMiniMalls.
Just plug in the URL and see what ads will display for it. Alternatively, the addon and extensions can be downloaded for use in your browser as well.

Yahoo’s Site Explorer has been a great tool to:
- All subpages within a URL indexed by Yahoo as well as subpages under a path.
- Display inlinks indexed by Yahoo to a URL.
- Submit any missing URLs to Yahoo.
You can use their free submit if any URL is not found and can even upload URLs in bulk. Now, site feeds can be submitted via their site submissions in RSS and Atom as well. More information is available at Yahoo’s free submit page.
Another great feature just added is the ability to filter out internal Inlinks.
While free site submission may be great, webmasters should still fix the problem which is preventing spiders from indexing it properly. Rather than have to do these submissions, let the search engine spider do its job naturally.
This tool gives you an accurate view of all the inbound links a site gets as compared to Google which only shows roughly 10% of a site’s backlinks in most cases. In SEO, backlinks play a big part in search engine rankings. To monitor a site’s links over time automatically, you can use Digital Point’s Back-Link Tracker.
